Rotorua the city of smells

You can’t be mistaken if you are in Rotorua or not. Sulphur smell is distinct and Klara wonders what the smell comes from. Steam and fumes are sighted all around and downtown Rotorua takes us to the park and the Rotorua museum.

Rotorua Museum of Art and History

Here you can watch old and newer maori history. The museum is located in an old beautiful bath house and Oskar, Vera and Klara each get a quiz form connected to the exhibitions, and full of energy the set off. Rotorua suffered from volcano eruptions in 1886 devastated beautifully coloured naturally built terraces. Since NZ is in between continental platters this country still is changing through eruptions and earthquakes.
Weather is hot and we take off to Blue lake Top 10 holiday park. Nice surrounding with the beautiful lake and the children takes an evening bath.
