Paraparaumu

RAIN IN THE MORNING. Golf is unfortunately taken off todays agenda. Greenfee is very high so you want a top day in order to play.

Links NZ style
Sadly we wave goodbye to Paraparaumu golf club and say Hello Wellington. Longing for some city feeling we booked a campsite downtown Wellington, and the spot is literally downtown. You park in the harbour and the mainroad is just outside your window.

Not an ordinary campsite!
Very practical you have 3 minutes to the ferry and all service at your fingertips. Running out of reading objects, bookstore is the target.

A bag full of new fantastic books :-)
All stocked up with good literature, Kalle, Oskar and Vera head back to camper for schoolwork and Klara and Pernilla continues to Te Puia, a museum of all the fantastic things in NZ, it’s a treasure house in maori. We experienced an earthquake, they have a small shaking house. Apparently all Swedes coming to Te Puia are keen on trying the earthquake house.  Also there are animals on dislay like the rare kiwi bird, giant octopus and many, many more animals. Klara climbed into a whale heart and we watched objects in a microscope. Wellington is the city of winds and we had a close encounter on the way back to our camperhome.
