Lazy day in Kinloch

The night wasn’t too cold, we managed with our little electric fan. After a lazy morning, Pernilla and Vera went tramping along the lake. Previous rainfalls had flooded the gravel road so you needed a 4WD to cross and be able to reach Greenstone Warf, but our aim wasn’t to go that far. Birds and sunshine made our walk easy and to get some good views we decided to go off road and started walking on the winding small track up the hills and through the paddocks. The reward was leaving the forest and get fantastic views over the lake. We thought we could work our way over the hills back to the camp but it ended in a dead end.

Afternoon was spent jogging (Kalle and Oskar), reading and internet management. The lovely Kinloch lodge served ice cold beers and great music. Showers where an extra 5 NSD so Kalle and Oskar saved money by jumping into the lake after their jogging. Very cool and refreshing. Bad weather came in during the evening and during the night I thought our campervan would blow away, winds were very strong!
